Survey: Sunday 2:30 PM Time Switch

As you know, from the beginning of January, we moved our VEV Sunday meeting time from 10:30am to 4pm in order to accommodate another church who now meets in the mornings. This was to help us offset the building costs. A huge thank you to all of you who made the adjustment to do so because you love our community.

At our last congregational meeting, January 26th, it was voiced that an earlier start of 2:30pm would be appreciated by some due to kids schedules, meal schedules, caregiver schedules, and some needing space on Sunday evenings to prepare for their coming work week. Our current start time is making it harder for some for these reasons.

As such, we are proposing an earlier Sunday meeting time of 2:30pm, ending by 4pm. This could begin as early as March 2nd. This start time gives us margin to prepare after the other congregation vacates the building. Again, we know that no time is going to be perfect for everyone, but we are trying to find what best fits most of our congregation in this season. With this in mind, we would be so grateful if you would complete this 1-minute survey by no later than this Friday, February 21st. We will provide an update at this Sunday's congregational meeting, February 23rd, which will still be at 4pm.

With gratitude for each of you,

Gordie on behalf of the VEV leadership team and directors.
